My Friend Harriet

20131113-145157.jpg

My friend Harriet Anderson did it again! She finished the Ironman championship race in Kona in October. And by finishing within the 17 hour limit she won her division (women 75-79 years old). Again.

I met Harriet for coffee this morning and she brought some photos from the race. She regaled me with stories that made me think doing an Ironman could be fun. Her enthusiasm for the sport is that contagious 🙂

The photo above is Harriet with Mirinda Carfae, the overall women winner of the race. I love this pic!

This Saturday Nov 16 at 1:30 p.m. PT On NBC you can probably see Harriet in the race coverage called “Ironman Triathlon: From Hawaii.”
