I’m scrambling to get me, the cat and my work stuff packed for a long weekend in Santa Barbara. So I got no time people. And if Bert knew I was posting to my blog he’d be (rightfully) a little cranky.
But I can’t just skip town without leaving my friends with a little something to brighten your day.
I came up with this:
That’s Now Voyager fresh from getting his winter trace clip this weekend. Isn’t he adorable? The clipped sections are like bunny fur…so soft. And the shaggy sections are like a teddy bear. Two for one.
He’s much happier too.
I’m off to do as much running and swimming as possible in paradise – I mean Santa Barbara.
Have a great week(end)!
Kathleen

Nice to be able to check in to your blog once again.
I didn’t know the taco bell story, I’m assuming that was Grandpa Hewes? The picture came out great of the shorn/shaved horse. He is standing proud!
And, by the way, I don’t think I knew at the time that you were overnight in line waiting for tickets!

Ooops, busted on my own blog by mom (HI MOM!)
Well, we had tickets, we were just waiting to get in…and maybe it wasn’t *all* night – maybe we got in line at like 3am. Good times.
Yep, Grandpa Hewes. Don’t remember how often we went but I definitely remember going with him.

I hope you are having a wonderful time, Kathleen! Swim a little for me!
I know nothing about horses… winter trace clipping… I just know it would feel cool to pet him… so soft…
BTW, I have a little award for you. I’ll post it tomorrow…
HUGS!
